Going in I wasn't sure how much I would enjoy it, as I am not really a coffee drinker...but I was in for a pleasant surprise! First we were escorted into a room where we could sample many different types of coffee, tea, and (best of all) chocolate!
And this tea was named perfectly for the Tolkien fans :).....it also tasted very good!
"Far over the Misty Mountains cold, To dungeons deep and caverns old, We must away, ere break of day, To claim our long-forgotten gold."
After we had had our fill of samples (and then some :p) We were taken to the display room, where we could see some really fantastic old coffee roasters and pots and such. There was a lot of neat history in there.
A proud dutch moment :)
yikes! 40 cups per day seems a bit excessive!
We also had a look at the tea pots...
We then followed the yellow bean road to the factory where the coffee making process was taking place...
After a delightful morning we left the museum....
I did what they asked :p
We then drove into town for some lunch, and a bit of shopping. Look what I found in the middle of town...haha
After that stop we drove over to a platypus look-out...unfortunately we did not see any. But it was a beautiful day none the less, and so we enjoyed a nice walk!
Aren't my cousins super cute?!
My wonderful grandparents!
I love how brilliantly blue this is!
Apparently not all ducks want there picture taken :p
On our walk we saw a beautiful old train station!
This gives you an idea of how high we were!
Then we were on the road again...
By the end of the trip we were ready to just relax for the evening. It was a full day of wonderful adventures!
I had a cuddle with this lovely little lady too!
I have so much to be thankful for!
In the words of the psalmist, David: How abundant are the good things
that you have stored up for those who fear you,
that you bestow in the sight of all,
on those who take refuge in you.
~Psalm 31:19
